Assam Agricultural University Recruitment 2016 – Craftsman, Mate & Other Posts: Directorate of Research (Agri), Assam Agricultural University has issued notification for the recruitment of Craftsman, Mate, Messenger/ Peon, Mali & Field Assistant-III vacancies on purely temporary and co-terminus basis. Age Limit: Candidates age should be maximum of 15 years as on 01-01-2016 for S.No-1 & 2. Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates has to possess Passed HSLC or its equivalent examination of a recognised board for S.No-1, Read up to Class X for S.No-2 to 4, Graduate in Arts/ Commerce/ Science from a recognised University for S.No-5 with relevant experience.

Application Form: Candidates may obtain the prescribed application form from Directorate of Research (Agri), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13 on working days up to 15-06-2016 on deposit of a crossed IPO of Rs. 20/- duly pledged in favour of Directorate of Research (Agri), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13 payable at AAU Jorhat PO.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Non Refundable fee of Rs. 200.00 (Rs.100.00 in case of SC/ST candidates only) for S.No-1 & 2, Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST) in the shape of A/C Payee Bank Draft of a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the Directorate of Research (Agri), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13 payable at Jorhat.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed application format along with attested copies of certificates in support of their age, working experience, educational qualification etc, Bank Draft, IPO, one self addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- in an envelope mention the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope to the Directorate of Research (Agri), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13 on or before 21-06-2016.
