Age Limit: Candidates age should not be above 45 years for Post 1, 38 years for Post 2, 3 & not be less than 45 years & not above 65 years for Post 4 as on 01-06-2016. Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates is applicable as per State Govt Rules for Post 3.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent for post 1, BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/ IT with at least a first class for Post 2, Post Graduate Degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology from UGC recognized University/ Institution with at least 2 class for post 3 & Bachelor Degree preferably in Civil Engineering/ a Master Degree for Post 4 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs.1000/- & Rs.500/- for SC/ ST by Demand Draft in favour of the “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch.
